Lucky to be a swede
Kategori: Allmänt
The last couple of days my hometown have had 300 immigrants moving in. The opinions are divided. Before you judge them, talk to these guys. Listen to their stories and get to know them. I´m sure you will get another perspective and completely change your opinion. I´ve already met some of them. Good guys just like you and me. The only difference is that we´ve been lucky, lucky to be born in Sweden, lucky to be born in a country without war and misery. Therefore, the least we can do is to stretch out a helping hand and welcome these people who haven´t had the same luck as us.
Sweden has been a country well-known for doing so the last decades. Unfortunately growing movements are trying to change this and it hurts to see. Our country´s solidarity and willingness to help people and countries in need is the reason I´m proud to call myself a Swede.
